Patients wishing to use donor sperm
There are a number of reasons why you might wish to use donor sperm:
- the male partner may not have any sperm of his own
- you might be in a same sex relationship
- or you might be a single woman wishing to have a baby
The fertility clinic at The James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough is one of the few clinics in the country possessing its own sperm donor bank.
This donor sperm is available to be used for either intra-uterine insemination (IUI) or for in vitro fertilisation (IVF) with intra-cytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI).
Patients wishing to become a sperm donor
We are always looking to recruit new sperm donors. If you would like more information about the possibility of becoming a sperm donor at our Middlesbrough clinic, please contact the embryology team on 01642 854915.
