If you are concerned that your child is very unwell please call 999 and ask for an ambulance or take them to your nearest accident and emergency department.
It is helpful to take any paperwork that you were given after their operation, particularly if you are not coming to the accident and emergency unit at James Cook.
For less urgent advice please contact the ward or unit you were discharge from.
If you are calling out of normal working hours please call wards 22 or 21 at James (even if you had treatment at Northallerton) as they offer a 24-hour service.
