At South Tees we have a staff benefits department which is a self-financing, non-profit making service.
Staff benefits offer staff a host of discounts from local stores and services so you can get the best deals around. Initiatives include:
Market place – a buying and selling section of our intranet site where staff can advertise free of charge.
Staff lottery – lottery draws are held on the first working day of the month. Payment is through salary deduction on a weekly or monthly basis and the income generated is used to fund the lottery prizes as well as sporting and social events open to all staff.
Savings club – a salary deduction scheme which runs for 10 months from January to October with your savings paid into your November salary. There is no minimum or maximum amount you can put into the scheme but it cannot be changed during the year.
Let’s Connect (home computing scheme) - The salary sacrifice scheme operated by Let’s Connect (a partner of Edenred), has now closed, but will run again later in 2014. Staff will be able to obtain one of the latest iPads, PCs or laptops at very competitive prices while spreading the cost over three years.
There are no credit checks or deposits and all PCs and laptops are supplied with three years manufacturer’s warranty. IPads have two years manufacturer’s warranty and three years theft and accidental damage insurance.
