Our trust houses one of the largest, single site, multi-specialism hospitals in Europe as well as a £35 million surgical hub and major trauma centre.
Our clinical teams are internationally recognised for delivering over 37 specialities of world-class patient care including state-of-the-art treatments and procedures and our patients can access a range of private healthcare services delivered across these specialities.
We welcome patients from both the UK and overseas and always prioritise patient safety and need above everything else.
Patients can be rest assured they will receive high-quality individual care from our clinical teams who are committed to patient care and well-being at all times.
Our trust has a full range of healthcare available including intensive care, critical care, high dependency care and specialist staff.
If you are placed on a ward, you will be placed on one that specialises in the treatment of your condition with highly trained staff.
Income generated from our private healthcare services will help to support vital NHS services within our trust including the employment of additional staff, reducing NHS waiting lists and the purchasing of equipment.
Private services are subject to NHS pressures and may not be immediately available.

Fees and payments
There are a range of payment options available for private healthcare services delivered at our trust. They will be dependent on what services you wish to access and will be explained in advance of your treatment.
If you are paying for your own care, you will be required to pay prior to any appointments and/or treatments.
If you have health insurance and wish to fund your treatment with this, you will be required to contact your insurer in advance of any appointments and/or treatment to confirm that they will pay the fees quoted. Depending on the treatment and insurer you may find that your insurance only partially covers the cost, in which case you will be required to pay the difference in advance of any appointments and/or treatment.
The Private Health Information Network (PHIN) website also contains lots of useful information on how self-pay and insured private patient care works.
However, if you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact the private patient office by emailing [email protected].
