With the opening of our new endoscopy and urology investigations unit and plans in place to build a new £35.5million surgical hub, there has never been a more exciting time to join the Friarage Hospital.
Set in the picturesque North Yorkshire market town of Northallerton, the Friarage forms an essential part of South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, serving a rural population of 135,000 people.
Our busy medical wards – Romanby, Ainderby and CDU (Clinical Decisions Unit) – have expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions and we offer a range of specialties and roles within a friendly and vibrant environment.
Our services and wards are continuously developing to provide state-of-the-art facilities including most recently: our MRI scanner, dialysis unit, eye unit, rapid diagnostic centre and The Sir Robert Ogden Macmillan Centre.
