From A19 north and southbound
- Turn off the A19 at the junction marked A174 – take the direction marked Teesport and Whitby.
- Turn off the A174 at the third junction marked A172 Middlesbrough Centre and Stokesley – turn left onto the A172 heading towards Middlesbrough centre.
- Go straight across at the first major set of traffic lights (large crossroad) and continue for about half a mile until you see The James Cook University Hospital on the right-hand side.
- Turn into the main entry road to The James Cook University Hospital and follow car park signs.
From A66 eastbound
- Head for Middlesbrough and turn off at the A172 Middlesbrough Centre and Stokesley Road.
- Turn right at the roundabout and remain on the A172 – The James Cook University Hospital will be signposted.
- At the next roundabout bear left and then left again onto Marton Road.
- Go straight on until you reach another roundabout with shops on the left-hand side.
- Continue straight ahead, passing through two sets of traffic lights. The James Cook University Hospital is on the left-hand side.
- Turn into the main entry road to The James Cook University Hospital and follow the car park signs.
From A66 westbound (from Redcar/East Cleveland)
- Head for Middlesbrough and turn off at the A171 (Cargo Fleet Lane). Carry on until you reach a crossroads with a set of traffic lights.
- Turn right at the lights onto the A1085 heading for Middlesbrough.
- Go through another set of traffic lights and go straight ahead until you reach a roundabout. Turn left at the roundabout.
- At the next roundabout bear left and then left again onto Marton Road.
- Go straight on until you reach another roundabout with shops on the left-hand side.
- Continue straight ahead, passing through two sets of traffic lights. The James Cook University Hospital is on the left-hand side.
- Turn into the main entry road to The James Cook University Hospital and follow the car park signs.
