Flexion in sitting

Sitting in a chair, relax and breath (Fig A) and gently roll forward to drop your hands towards your feet (Figs B and C). Return to sitting leading with your lower back first and lift your head last.
Relaxed flexion in standing

In standing, relax and breathe (Fig A). Bend both knees and hips. Reach forwards towards your knees, then towards the floor (Fig B).
Return to standing in a relaxed movement.
Relaxed flexion into plank

In standing (Fig A), do a semi-squat by bending both knees and hips, and place your hands on the floor (Fig B). Walk out with your hands until you get into a plank position (Figs C and D).
Return to standing by walking your hands back in.
One leg bend and reach

Stand on one leg and lift your opposite hand above your head (Fig A).
Then keeping relaxed, bend the standing hip, knee and your back to bring the raised hand down to touch the opposite side of your standing foot (Fig B).
Try to keep your other leg clear of the floor until you return to the start position.
