The government is recommending that people wear face masks in enclosed spaces where
- Social distancing may not be possible.
- You may come into contact with people you don’t normally meet.
How to wear a none-medical mask
To put it on
- Wash your hands.
- Check your mask is clean.
- Cover your mouth, nose and chin.
- Adjust your mask so there are no gaps.
- Try not to touch your face.
To take it off
- Wash your hands.
- Remover mask by using the ear loops.
- Take the mask away from your face.
- Put in sealable plastic bag and wash when able. Wash once a day.
- Wash your hands.
To protect yourself and reduce the spread of Covid-19 please remember to keep 2 metres apart and wash your hands regularly.
How to wear a medical mask
To put it on
- Wash your hands.
- Check your mask is not damaged.
- Find the top of the mask, the stiff edge.
- Ensure the coloured side is facing out.
- Cover your mouth, nose and chin.
- Adjust your mask so there are no gaps.
- Try not to touch your face.
To take it off
- Wash your hands.
- Remove mask by using the ear loops.
- Take the mask away from the face.
- Put immediately in the bin.
