Outpatient referrals

The speech and language therapy team offers a limited outpatient service at The James Cook University Hospital and Redcar Primary Care Hospital.

The speech and language therapy team offers a limited outpatient service at The James Cook University Hospital and Redcar Primary Care Hospital.

Community services also support some patients in their own home, nursing or residential home, and other community settings.

We accept outpatient referrals from GPs, health care professionals, care homes, nursing homes, and some self-referrals.   This is a limited speech and language therapy service and all referrals will be triaged by a member of the team.
