Our COVID campaign has officially launched and we are encouraging staff to get the COVID-19 jab, not the virus, as soon as possible.

Help protect yourself, your patients, colleagues and loved ones by saying no thank you to COVID-19 this winter.

Drop in clinics at James Cook

Short on time? Staff are welcome to drop in for their vaccine on the following dates in the staff restaurant at James Cook. No booking is required.

• Monday 13 January from 12.30pm to 1.30pm
• Tuesday 14 January from 12.30pm to 1.30pm
• Thursday 16 January from 12.30pm to 1.30pm
• Monday 20 January from 12.30pm to 1.30pm
• Thursday 23 January from 12.30pm to 1.30pm

Drop in clinics at Friarage

Our COVID champions will be in room 1.58, urgent community response (UCR) opposite SDEC, 1st floor, Friarage on the following dates and staff are welcome to drop in for their vaccine. No booking is required.            

• Tuesday 17 December from 9am to 2pm
• Thursday 2 January 2025– 9am to 2pm
• Sunday 5 January – 9am to 1pm
• Wednesday 8 January – 1pm to 5pm
• Friday 10 January – 11am to 2pm
• Saturday 11 January – 9am to 1pm
• Sunday 19 January – 9am to 1pm
• Monday 20 January – 9am to 2pm
• Wednesday 22 January – 1pm to 5pm
• Tuesday 28 January – 9am to 2pm

What do I need when I get my jab?

Vaccine forms can also be completed at our drop-in clinics but you will also need to bring:

• Your payroll number

  Your payroll number can be found by logging in to ESR and is on your payslip as assignment number. If you are not paid by the trust (such as doctors in residence), you can leave the payroll number blank

• Your NHS number

  If you don’t know it, you can find your NHS number online or on your NHS app.
